Since 2019, I have served in the role of art director and sole designer of this bi-monthly publication from the Washington State Medical Association. My favorite part is assigning an illustrator each month for the cover. We work together to ensure the final visual represents the story subject in an accurate and engaging way.

Though this project ended up being an exercise in concept only, I enjoyed capturing the whimsical spirit of this publication, especially illustrating some of the typography.

This magazine was one of my first forays into editorial design early on in my career. During my time spent as art director, I led a full redesign, creating new templates, style sheets, and selecting new typefaces.
