Created as a storytelling vehicle showcasing the best of the university, Illimitable covers the academic pursuits, culture, and research of remarkable students and faculty. Illimitable initially took the form of a print publication, and later a microsite within the university's main news site, UVAToday.
My role with the Illimitable microsite was leading the art direction of its debut, as well designing many of the story pages. We aimed to make each story page feel like a contained editorial experience, complete with animation and interactivity. I worked closely with our resident web developer to achieve these goals.
